NOVEMBER 2020

Oh my gosh, I passed my UK Society of Celebrants course!

I am as of this moment, a properly qualified and accredited family celebrant. Where on earth do I start?

Well, firstly by thanking Ellie Farrell who so adeptly hauled me through each and every tutorial. She had the mammoth task of teaching this old dog new tricks, but we got there in the end!

And do you know what I discovered? I love it!

I loved every single minute of every tutorial. I loved every second of doing my homework… unheard of, I know!

Without wishing to sound like a walking, talking, cliché – I can feel the passion for creating ceremonies already taking root and building within me. I know I can do this. I want to do this. The idea of turning someone’s special day into something unique and memorable is both terrifying and exciting. (Actually, mostly exciting but I don’t want to get ahead of myself).

Please somebody – pick me! Pick me!
